Château Clos Mansio Vertical Masterclass with Pierre Charles

CAPS Manitoba is proud to announce a masterclass vertical tasting of 8 vintages from Château Clos Mansio .  We will be hosted by Pierre Charles, owner and winemaker of Château Cailleteau Bergeron.

Château Cailleteau Bergeron has been a family vineyard since 1933,
located in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation which lies 40 kilometers north of Bordeaux.

For almost 100 years, generation after generation, the Dartier family has produced quality and enjoyable red, white and rosé wines from Chateau Cailleteau Bergeron.

Clos Mansio has been a wine estate since 1850, located in the heart of the village of Mazion. The Dartier family took over this estate in 1991 and certified it organic from the 2021 vintage.

The soil consists of clay limestone and sand, is the ideal support for the cultivation of the emblematic red grape varieties of the appellation:  Merlot , Cabernet Sauvignon  and  Malbec as the terroir finds its best expression here.
